 James D. Dudley, Chief Executive OfficerMr. Dudley, founder of The Company, realized an opportunity for providing wide-ranging automated revenue/patient accounting services to the health care industry. His initiative began in 1991 with the development of communications and application software that connects physician offices with Insurance carriers in the traditional "claims clearing" model. Mr. Dudley also directed development of comprehensive managed care software that combined all financial aspects of an integrated healthcare delivery system for hospitals and physicians (IPAs, MSOs, and PHOs), and guided the product's growth throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. In recent years Mr. Dudley has kept JDA on the "cutting edge" by delivering innovative products and enhancements to meet emerging trends in the industry, including the current Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiatives.Prior to Starting JDA Mr. Dudley worked in the securities industry as a principal in a proprietary trading firm on the Chicago Board of Options specializing in valuing and market making equities and derivative securities. Mr. Dudley was educated at Marquette University where he earned an undergraduate degree in business administration, and played on that school's renowned 1977 NCAA National Basketball Championship Team. He earned a Masters Degree in General Economics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 1986, and a Masters Degree in Monetary Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1988.
Craig W. Lyon, Senior Vice PresidentMr. Lyon has over four decades of computer systems management, development, marketing and sales experience, including more than three decades devoted to health care systems and services. His corporate experience includes thirteen years in financial services (Banking, Wall Street) and thirty-two years in the health care industry with several software vendors and a hospital bill auditing firm.Mr. Lyon's health care service experience includes management of development efforts for large-scale claims adjudication systems for health insurance organizations and systems and operational responsibility for a national hospital bill auditing company. He collaborated with Mr. Dudley in 1995 in the formation of CommuniSys, Inc., the predecessor company to JDA eHealth Systems. He has a degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Nick Hilger , Executive Vice President, Business DevelopmentMr. Hilger joined JDA in 2009 and is responsible for expanded business relationships and new product development, with a current emphasis on bundled reimbursement and ACO's.Prior to his current position, he was Senior Vice President, Health Systems Development at Ingenix and UHC, wholly-owned subsidiaries of United Health Group. His interests and responsibilities involved the development of expanded business relationships among Health Systems, the Physician community, Managed Care Organizations, and other healthcare industry companies. Prior to joining UHG, Mr. Hilger held several senior positions in Health Systems including CEO of HealthOne in Colorado, CEO of HealthEast in Minnesota, and CEO of HCA's Chicago Division. During his years in Health System leadership he served on several regional and national health-related boards. Immediately following his 20+ years in Hospital System leadership, he concentrated his activities in developing collaborative partnerships between Hospital Systems and Specialty Physician groups in joint ventures, clinical partnerships, and technology development. Mr. Hilger is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Master of Hospital Administration and completed the Program in Management Development at Harvard Business School.
Theresa A. Johnsen – Director of Contract Services/Client ImplementationsMs. Johnsen joined JDA in 2002 in the capacity of Director of Contract Services/Client Implementations. She is responsible for directing all new Parathon® client implementations.Ms. Johnsen is a registered nurse who earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Michigan State University with a Master of Science Degree in Health Services Administration. Ms. Johnsen has twenty-five years of health care experience. She has served in a management capacity in a community hospital in Illinois, served as the Director of QA/UR for an IPA, she has held the position of Executive Director of Highland Managed Care Group, Inc. where she was responsible for all the service divisions of this organization including an IPA and a consulting and management service division. Ms. Johnsen has served on the Board of Directors of the Managed Healthcare Providers Association, a trade association of managed health care professionals whose purpose is to enhance the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the health care services provided by its membership. Ms. Johnsen has a strong background in managed care with areas of expertise in managed care contracting, claims management and managed care operations.
Bill Armbrecht – Vice President, Software EngineeringMr. Armbrecht joined JDA eHealth Systems in 1995 and took on the role of lead developer. He was instrumental in designing and developing the Parathon application suite.Mr. Armbrecht has nearly thirty years of computer systems design and development experience, with the last fifteen devoted to health care. His experience includes eight years in the corporate office of a drug store chain developing sales, pharmacy, and marketing systems. He also has experience as a software consultant, including an assignment with an insurance company. His areas of expertise include designing and deploying large-scale systems, database administration, and client interface. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Business Administration from Concordia University, River Forest Illinois. He holds a number of industry-specific certifications.
Matthew J. Price – Director of Software EngineeringMatthew Price has been with JDA eHealth Systems since 2004. He has been working with software development for the healthcare industry ever since he graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1998. As Director of Software Engineering he is involved in the entire life cyle of software development. He is responsible for gathering the needs of clients and business partners and working with a team of developers to build cutting-edge solutions. Prior to JDA eHealth Systems, Matthew worked for Advanced Business Fulfillment, which was acquired by WebMD. There he worked as a Software Engineer and built data warehouse applications for healthcare payors and providers.
Rob Cooper - President, JDA Transaction ServicesMr. Cooper joined JDA in 2009 and is responsible for overall corporate strategy, business development, product development, and client service for JDA eHealth Systems ISSI division.An accomplished Health Information Systems Industry executive with over 20 years of experience in Health Information Technology, Mr. Cooper has gained the benefits of more than 10 years of leadership experience in public and private healthcare provider settings including 8 years of progressive responsibilities in a 16 facility multi-hospital non-profit organization. Prior to joining JDA, Mr. Cooper was the Associate Director of Professional Services for the Western United States for Vitech Systems Group Inc., an industry leader in self-funded and Taft-Hartley benefit administration enterprise applications. His client portfolio included several large fund administrative organizations including: The Southwest Administrators (SWA); The United Food Commercial Workers Employers Benefit Plans of Northern California (UFCW), and The Carpenter Funds Administrative Office of Northern California (CFAO). Mr. Cooper also worked as the Director of Product Development for Medical Data Exchange, Long Beach, CA and was the Vice President of Healthcare Solutions for eSolutions, Inc., Olathe, KS, a start up internet based transaction service company.
Mr. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ottawa University.
